Hands of Ahava Partners with Young Leadership Division for Educational Networking Event

June 27—Orange County, CA— Hands of Ahava partnered with the Jewish Federation’s Young Leadership Division (YLD) to present “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” This unique and interactive event brought together older and younger generations to discuss the power of words and the significant role they play in relationships.

Using Rabbi Joseph Telushkin’s book, “Words that hurt, Words that heal,” Nelli Abriv, YLD, guided participants on the general role words play within our day-to-day lives and provided a different way to approach our relationships with words. Shoshanna Kramer, Hands of Ahava, developed this idea further by providing information about how words can cross the line into domestic violence.
